You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.
Cancellations and Refunds Policy
Self-Service Cancellations: You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. Simply log into your account, go to your Substack settings, and click Cancel Subscription. Your paid access will continue until the end of your current billing period. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Refund Eligibility: Refunds are granted strictly in accordance with Substack’s Refund Policy. Generally, requests must be made within the first few days of a renewal. Past issues or fully processed monthly billing cycles are non-refundable.
Contact Support First: If you believe you are owed a refund due to a billing error, you must contact our support team directly or reach out through Substack’s support center. We commit to reviewing and resolving valid errors promptly.
No Credit Card Chargebacks: By subscribing, you agree not to initiate a chargeback with your credit card company or bank for valid subscription charges. Dispute fees harm independent writers.
Account Termination: Initiating a fraudulent or unauthorized chargeback instead of using the official refund process will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your subscription and access to this publication.
