Thought-filled Thursday--Emotional Manipulation

Monday, I wrote about emotional manipulators and how they seem to be gaining steam.

When it comes to the subtle art of manipulation, many of us are thrown into the deep end without a life vest. We all navigate the world of communication every day, but there’s no class that teaches us how to recognize when someone is manipulating us.

Manipulative individuals who, with a cleverly placed phrase here and an innocent comment there, slowly chip away until you are under their control.
